According to a Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor study on hunger levels in Gaza, 71% of Gazans currently suffer from severe hunger, with 98% unable to consume enough food, and 64% resorting to eating fruits, wild or raw foods, and expired items, in order to relieve their hunger. This is what happens when an apartheid state enforces a total blockade on millions of people.
"People in Gaza are dying; they are not only dying from bombs and strikes: soon many more will die from the consequences of (the) siege imposed on the Gaza Strip."
Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini
It appears the entire western world has opted to move against Yemen, the only nation on Earth materially trying to end a genocide. One simple way to get the Houthis in Yemen to back off from attacking commercial ships is for Israel to stop mass murdering Palestinians in Gaza. If it seems like a reasonable demand and an ideal way to resolve the issue, that’s because it is. What people around the world are slowly beginning to realize in the midst of all this bloodshed is that when the time is right, as the climate continues to unravel and the wars spread, this same alliance of nations and their weaponry will absolutely be used against them. Today it’s Palestine, tomorrow it’s the rest of us.
Other countries are taking notes and lessons from Yemen’s unwavering stance. Malaysia has taken this opportunity to ban the Israeli shipping giant ZIM from entering its ports. Malaysia also banned any ship en-route to the apartheid state from docking in its ports or any ships from flying an Israeli flag. One month after South Africa cut off all diplomatic relations with Israel, the former apartheid nation has issued a serious warning to any of its citizen serving in the IDF. These criminals could justifiably face prosecution over war crimes in Gaza and naturalized citizens could lose their South African nationality. This is the only reasonable response to anyone traveling to the apartheid state to participate in genocide against Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Jerry Seinfeld took a break from cruising local high schools for his next victim to travel out to Israel to “raise awareness for the families of the hostages”. I’m not sure how much more awareness is needed considering there are posters plastered in every major city in the west demanding their safe return, but nonetheless, ol’ Jerry is on the case. I can think of 17 reasons why the famous comedian is involving himself (google ‘Jerry Seinfeld 17’ to learn more).
I had a friend ask me the classic conundrum of our time: doesn’t withholding my vote for Biden next year mean a worse future under Trump? I’ll try to break this down as simply as possible so there’s no confusion: To me, every single member of the Biden administration deserves to rot in hell for eternity for what they’re endorsing and supporting. Sadly, where they spend eternity is out of my control. But if Trump returns to power and ends up indicting them on bullshit Q-Anon child cannibalism crimes, I’ll honestly consider it the next closest thing to justice. I’d vote for Pablo Escobar before I vote for Biden, and at this point there’s legitimately nothing the decrepit coward can do to change that.

Money Helps: Researchers in Los Angeles gave homeless people $750 per month for a year with no questions asked. The recipients spent the money on food, housing, transportation, clothing, and health care. After six months, only 12% of those who received funds were still homeless. It’s not exactly breaking news, but giving money to people who need money helps get them out of a situation where they don’t have enough money. Take your time recovering from this shock
Colorado Decision: Colorado’s Supreme Court has ruled to remove Donny Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot based on the 'insurrectionist ban’ present in the 14th amendment. Now we all get to pretend for a few days or weeks like he’s not gonna get away with this and still be the next president. Don’t get lost in the sauce my friends
