Yesterday, Biden took time out of his busy day to release a statement marking 100 days of captivity for the Israeli hostages and 100 days of genocide and torture for the millions of innocent Gazans. The only issue is that Biden failed to make any mention of the oppressed Palestinian people in his statement. Every time I think the old bag of bones has hit rock bottom, he somehow finds a way to dig even deeper.
“Today, we mark a devastating and tragic milestone—100 days of captivity for the more than 100 innocent people, including as many as 6 Americans, who are still held being hostage by Hamas in Gaza. For 100 days, they have existed in fear for their lives, not knowing what tomorrow will bring. For 100 days, their families have lived in agony, praying for the safe return of their loved ones. And for each of those 100 days, the hostages and their families have been at the forefront of my mind as my national security team and I have worked non-stop to try to secure their freedom.”

This goofball of a president fails/refuses to utter a single word about ~24,000 Palestinians killed with American support. And as Biden mourns the Israeli hostages without mention of Palestine, the apartheid state continues to rain hellfire down on Gaza. The health ministry reported that yesterday’s bombardment on Gaza killed at least 158 people, more than Biden chose to single out in his pathetic one-sided statement of selective sympathy. These 158 Palestinians also lived in fear for their lives by the way, only they woke up knowing exactly what tomorrow would bring. Every single day these innocent people wake up knowing it could be their last.
Journalist Motaz Azaiza also commemorated 100 days of genocide, compiling a minute and 16 seconds of footage documenting Israel’s war crimes. Motaz does more in those 76 seconds than Biden has done in 100 days or even 4 years of being leader of the free world.

Iowa Caucuses: Trump won the mostly-symbolic vote by a landslide, as anyone paying the slightest attention could’ve predicted. His opponents, Ron DeSantis and Nimrata Randhawa-Haley didn’t come close to his final tally of voters, and together their 17 delegates is still fewer than Trump’s 20. Upstart candidate Vivek Ramaswamy did so poorly in Iowa that he immediately ended his campaign for president. I guess that’s an expected outcome for the least likable Brahmin to come out of Harvard in years
Emmy’s: The Emmy Awards took place yesterday. Some people won and other people lost. I wasn’t tuned in because that’s not the kind of thing I care about. As far as I can tell there wasn’t any grand (or even subtle) gesture reminding people of the ongoing genocide in Gaza or our complicity as American taxpayers, so somehow a room full of Hollywood pageantry didn’t capture my attention
