Tuesday, December 12: Clueless Joe
That boy Biden has done it again (made himself look like a fool)
Joe Biden will go down in history as an enabler of ethnic cleansing, a genocide-supporting coward, and (almost definitely) a one-term president.
At a white house event yesterday celebrating Hanukkah, the geriatric leader of the free world said, “Were there no Israel, there wouldn’t be a Jew in the world who was safe.” which is truly a wild thing to say out loud. If I said this exact statement in front of a crowd, I’d likely be called antisemitic and charged with a hate crime, but when a dusty, diaper-wearing old goofball says it, somehow it’s ok. Evidently it’s not the message that determines who is antisemitic, it’s the messenger.
Biden’s actions in the past two months+ have revealed his undying love of the apartheid state and his endless commitment to helping exterminate the people of Gaza. But his rhetoric has been equally appalling and completely insane. If you stop to think about it for a moment, Biden is literally saying that Jews around the world are protected by Israel, not by the country they’re citizens of, which feeds into the antisemitic notion that Jewish citizens should be more loyal to Israel than to their own nations. The crusty old clown’s other go-to line about Israel is, “if there wasn’t an Israel the US would have to create one.” which again, makes you question what they’re mixing into this man’s Metamucil.
While Biden is busy providing cover for a genocide, Brown University arrested 41 undergraduate students yesterday for sitting in a building on campus in solidarity with Palestine. These students were demanding the university divest from weapons manufacturers in the midst of the ongoing ethnic cleansing in Gaza. The protest was also a show of support for their fellow Brown student Hisham Awartani, who was shot and paralyzed by a gunman in Burlington, Vermont last month alongside two other men of Palestinian descent who were also injured. These protesting students were booked, fingerprinted, and had their mugshots taken inside a campus building, which kinda makes you question how safe they can feel on their own campus. But because they’re not supporters of an apartheid state, there will be no articles in the New York Times or other outlets on their feelings being hurt.
In other news, Puma, a company that’s been featured on BDS lists for many years for its support of the apartheid state’s athletic endeavors, has announced that it will end its sponsorship of Israel’s national football (soccer) team due to “financial reasons”. This is further evidence that collective action and boycotting works. Don’t give up my friends, keep fighting the good fight.

New Patriot Act: The house of representatives’ intelligence committee put forth a bill last week that’s been described by civil liberties experts as “the largest expansion of domestic government surveillance since the Patriot Act”. Folks, I don’t think they mean that as a compliment. This bill, FISA Reform Act, HR 6611, would increase federal surveillance agencies’ access to the communications of American citizens with practically zero federal oversight or restrictions. Call your elected officials today and demand that they vote against this attempt at government overreach
