Death finally came knocking at the door of the crusty disgusting war criminal and 100 year old diplomatic heavyweight Henry Kissinger, whose relentless service under two American presidents left an indelible and devastating stain on US foreign policy forever.
If we recall way back in the 1970’s, Kissinger played a major role in many of the era-shifting global events while serving as Nixon’s secretary of state. The German-born ultra-zionist Jewish refugee helped kill and destroy an entire generation of people in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, East Timor, Bangladesh. But like a sick infomercial, wait, there’s more! Kisssinger also made devastating decisions impacting the Kurds, as well as plenty of folks in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Cyprus, among many other places.
Under his watchful eyes, the US bombed Laos 270 million times over the course of nine years, giving it the unenviable distinction of being the most bombed country ever. There were more than 580,000 bombing missions on Laos between 1964 and 1973, that’s bombs scattered every eight minutes, every day, for NINE YEARS. There are unexploded bombs in the area to this day, and they’ll go off and claim the lives of innocent civilians from time to time, so even in death it’s likely that Kissinger will still be killing people.
His moronic and misguided defenders will tell you that he led efforts to the diplomatic normalization with modern China, as well as landmark US-Soviet arms control talks, but they might leave out the fact that he of course expanded and cemented America’s ties with the apartheid state of Israel. It’s thanks to him that we provide the amount of foreign aid and the level of protective propaganda that we’ve seen performed for the last 55 days and for the previous decades.
Kissinger was, for all intents and purposes, the quintessential American political social-climber. Willing to sacrifice everything (the lives of others, the laws that govern the lives of others, even the legitimacy of other sovereign nations), all at the altar of US imperial power. Much can be learned about the nefarious world order he helped construct by the simple fact that he died comfortably in his home and not imprisoned for his litany of crimes against humanity. Someone be sure to check in on Hilary Clinton, I’m sure she’s devastated by the loss of such an inspiring figure in her life.
This is a man so heinously and roundly despised that Jacobin magazine wrote up a book-length obituary years ago and commissioned 50,000 copies and have been waiting to release it publicly. May we all avoid making such terrible decisions as Kissinger, and may our memories rest in much better condition than his.
Side Items
Assassination Factory: This investigation provides first-hand witness testimony and strong evidence proving that the military of apartheid Israel has been targeting what they call “power targets”, private residences as well as public buildings, infrastructure, and high-rise blocks. The casual destruction is intended to harm Palestinian civil society: to “create a shock” that, will reverberate powerfully and “lead civilians to put pressure on Hamas,” as one Israeli source puts it. With Israel’s endless surveillance capabilities, it makes sense that the military has files on the overwhelming majority of areas in Gaza, including homes, which include the number of civilians who are likely to be killed in an attack on any particular target. This number is calculated and known in advance to the army’s intelligence units, who also know shortly before carrying out an attack *~roughly~* how many civilians are certain to be killed
New Hostage Release Footage: Making the zionists even more upset are the various scenes of Hamas returning hostages to the apartheid state with wide grins on their faces, clearly unaware that they’re supposed to be terrified of their barbaric captors. These images look more like friends saying goodbye at the end of summer camp than they do a tense hostage exchange
LB Bidness Documentary: A dear friend helped make this remarkable film documenting the definitive story of Little Brother, the legendary NC-based rap group composed of rappers Phonte, Big Pooh, and (formerly) producer 9th Wonder. Give it a watch, not just for the music or the rap history behind the music but for the wise and frequent reflections on the growing pains that happen in our friendships over time. The growth that we witness and experience and share. Sincerely a cool watch, 9/10 would recommend (the 1 who wouldn’t is probably Kissinger lol)
