It’s been 75 days and 75 years of murder and displacement and inhumanity.
We’ve now witnessed more than ten weeks of industrial-scale slaughter. Ten straight weeks of 1,000+ Palestinian children being murdered by the Israeli military and the genocidal regime leading the apartheid state. Hundreds of health workers killed, nearly 100 journalists killed, and the United States hasn’t wavered for a moment in its material support for the genocide.
As Gazans have been systematically denied the most basic and vital humanitarian necessities, it is the US and only the US that has continued to stand in the way. International aid organizations have been warning of starvation and the spread of infectious disease, they’ve begged repeatedly for an immediate ceasefire and for the allowance of medical and humanitarian aid, but the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave’ has insured that this will not happen. Whether by vetoing UN resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire or by standing side-by-side with the leaders of the apartheid state as they articulate their plans of mass murder, the blood of 20,000+ Palestinians will forever stain the hands of America’s leaders.
The clowns running the show will assemble an international coalition and send a heavily-armed naval force to protect the movement of shipping containers through a narrow passage of water but those same idiots won’t move an inch for 2 million people trapped in a densely populated open-air concentration camp. The Israeli regime can promise to fully fund the college degrees of all combat fighters in their ongoing ethnic cleansing endeavor, which is to say that US taxpayers will actually be funding the college degrees of these murderous cowards. But when it’s American students and their college loans, those payments will resume as normal.
This article provides a great summary of why the apartheid state has failed so miserably at achieving any of its stated military goals, namely “eradicating Hamas”. The Israeli military excels in massacring innocent civilians and destroying Gaza’s infrastructure, as evidenced by the horrific number of civilian casualties, but engaging in combat on the ground, particularly in a territory they’re unfamiliar with, was only ever going to lead to Israeli officers and infantry being outfoxed and laid to waste.
The result of 75 days of indiscriminate bombing is a nuclear-armed colonizing nation with modern weapons systems and seemingly endless intelligence capabilities (and let’s not forget the full backing of the most powerful nation on Earth), desperately struggling to achieve any meaningful tactical victory over the armed Palestinian resistance forces in Gaza.

Casual Human Trafficking: The state of Texas and its liability of a governor Greg Abbott chartered a private plane with more than 120 migrants from the southern border to the city of Chicago. This is a clear escalation of Abbott’s policy of giving migrants a free ride to any number of democrat-led cities to try and illustrate how the US border policy is having a negative impact on states like Texas. Thus far, more than 80,000 migrants have been dispatched from Texas to cities across the country since last year. At some point we should probably acknowledge that this is a clear example of the human trafficking that so many republicans are worried about
Czech Shooting: Police in the Czech Republic say a shooting in downtown Prague today has killed an unspecified number of people and wounded dozens of others. Once the dust settles I imagine this tragedy will lead to necessary conversations on how to avoid similar incidents in the future. Although Prague is on the other side of the world, we should always recognize and remember that mass shootings are one of America’s most common exports. That’s one distinction this country has undoubtedly earned
