The IDF drove bulldozers over sleeping Palestinians yesterday
Every day brings another unfathomable massacre and a continuously unfolding nightmare.
Kamal Adwan Hospital was the scene of a horrific crime yesterday, as Israeli bulldozers drove through the hospital’s courtyard, crushing wounded patients and anyone seeking refuge as they lay sleeping in their tents. The footage is incredibly disturbing, as you would imagine the aftermath of a bulldozer attack may be. I wish I could say this is the first time Israel has utilized bulldozers to crush the bodies of those resisting, but sadly the story of Rachel Corrie is well known to anyone who has paid attention to Israel’s war crimes over the years.
Separately, an Israeli sniper shot and killed two women inside the Holy Family Parish in Gaza yesterday, according to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. When the apartheid state is openly killing anything that moves in Gaza, it really shouldn’t come as any surprise that Christians are victims of the same violence as Muslims. A genocidal military generally doesn’t discriminate in who it targets.
In unrelated news, massive protests took place across Israel yesterday, as hundreds of people took to the streets demanding the resignation of the cabinet of the apartheid state. Let the record reflect that these protests weren’t caused by the ongoing mass murder of thousands of Palestinian children. The source of these protests in Israel’s deeply racist society was the killing by Israel’s military of three (3) Israeli hostages waving a white flag. So murdering three Israeli hostages in Gaza led to more Israeli and western media outrage than the 20,000+ Palestinians killed so far in Gaza. Definitely a sign of a thriving and healthy society.
The number of Israeli’s killed on October 7 has been revised yet again by the apartheid state. According to data from Israel’s social security agency, the latest revised death toll from the Hamas attack is 695 Israeli civilians (including 36 children), 373 Israeli security forces and 71 foreigners, for a grand total of 1,139. This is down from the original, widely-circulated figure of 1400, which was revised down to 1,200, and now down to 1,139 total deaths. One important detail is that the Israeli data doesn’t distinguish between those killed by Hamas and any civilians killed by Israeli forces in the subsequent fighting to regain control of southern Israel, an operation in which the army has admitted to using shells and rockets on inhabited areas.
Not to compare apples and oranges, but bear in mind that the number of Palestinian children killed in Gaza since October 7 is nearly 300 times greater than the number of Israeli children killed on October 7. Just some food for thought.

Roe v. Wade Fallout: A Black woman in Ohio was charged with a felony after she had a miscarriage at home. That really tells you everything you need to know about the treatment of pregnant women in this country after Roe was overturned last year
UNC’s New Chancellor: UNC’s new interim chancellor, Lee Roberts, will begin his tenure on Jan. 12. Roberts is on the UNC Board of Governors and worked as the state budget director under republican governor/insufferable bozo Pat McCrory. The man has zero professional administrative experience in higher education, so why not let him take charge of the flagship university of the state?
