What will you do with all your precious safety?
First of all, Eid Mubarak to everybody, Muslim and otherwise, with critical exception to anyone actively ignoring the ongoing genocide for the sake of their ~feelings~. Yesterday Muslims all around the world gathered with friends, family and loved ones to reflect and celebrate the end of Ramadan. The apartheid state celebrated as they always do, by casually murdering dozens of Palestinians.
In the past week, the zionist apartheid lovers have dropped bombs on Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon, continuing their quest to illegally steal land at any cost, with absolutely no regard for human life. It was reported last week that 16 Palestinian ambulance crew members were executed by Israeli Forces in southern Gaza after coordinating with the Red Cross to ensure their safety. These brave medics and first responders went in to save lives and the ruthless and odious apartheid state executed all 16 of them, then buried their bodies and destroyed their vehicles. Nothing about this is self-defense. This is the very definition of a war crime.
The zionist apartheid regime also continued their favorite tradition of targeting Palestinian journalists, murdering 23 year old Hossam Shabat, an Al Jazeera Mubasher correspondent, last week in northern Gaza. At least 208 journalists have been assassinated by the apartheid state or killed by Israeli terror attacks on civilian populations over the past 17 months. Compare that to Mexico, statistically the second-most dangerous country for reporters, where 171 journalists have been murdered in the past 25 YEARS. If killing journalists was an Olympic sport, the Israeli’s would truly be in a league of their own.
By this point, western media outlets are reporting that the death toll in Gaza exceeds 50,000 with more than 15,000 of the dead being children. Al Jazeera released a short documentary investigating the ongoing reports that Israeli forces are targeting and murdering children. The Gazan health ministry released a 1,516–page document listing the names of over 50,000 Palestinians confirmed killed since Oct 7, 2023. The first 27 pages of the document list the age of the deceased as 0 — children who hadn’t even turned 1 year old. I know we can sometimes grow numb to these numbers, so perhaps it’s more helpful to think of it this way: if you held one funeral every day for those killed it would take you over 41 years just to get through the children.
No one is safe from the genocidal rampage of these fascist zionists. Not medics, not children, not even award-winning filmmakers. I never thought that being an Oscar winning director would shield you from violence, but if it’s so easy to maim and disappear someone like Hamdan Ballal, what makes you think that regular Palestinians aren’t being disappeared and murdered everyday in the West Bank? That’s exactly the process that cowards in the IDF are trying to enforce; render Palestinian civilians nonexistent, claim that everyone is a combatant, and then claim that actually, no genocide is occurring.
Meanwhile, the story that’s been dominating western media headlines for the past week, the same outlets that are running cover for an active genocide, has little to do with the crimes of the apartheid state and much to do with “operational security”.
The Atlantic, a cowardly rag of a publication, announced last week that its editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg (a scumbag so utterly loathsome that he actually volunteered to be an IDF prison guard) was ‘accidentally’ added to a Signal group text that included the sitting vice president, the CIA director, the secretary of defense and the national security advisor. In this chat, the clueless fascists were discussing their war strategies and the best ways to further destroy Yemen. These idiots were discussing war crimes in much the same way I discuss strategies of obtaining delicious meals with my friends, emojis and all.
Naturally, many politicians quickly became obsessed with the insecurity of this Signal chat, but somehow they weren’t too concerned with the fact that the current administration completely bypassed congress in order to drop bombs on a country we’re not officially at war with. It’s truly the perfect illustration of the modern democratic party’s complete disconnect from reality. Keep in mind Ol’ Henry Kissinger (who is appropriately dead and rotting) kept his famous campaign of bombing Cambodia secret for years, because the bombing of a country we weren’t at war with was and is illegal. Now the US just casually drops bombs wherever and whenever they want, and the press and any anti-Trump politicians don’t even bother giving it a second thought.
The cowards in power want us to be silent and docile because their fascism thrives on our fear. They want you to self-censor, to do less, to think twice before opening your mouth. But we will never recover whatever ground we concede. As Mohammed El-Kurd put it; “This moment calls for caution, not hysteria. Courage, not cowardice. If the objective is fear, be unafraid. Dissent.”

Assassination Mission Accomplished: After an investigation following the assassination of former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, the Unification Church in Japan was ordered dissolved by a court last week. The investigation into Abe’s assassination revealed decades of close ties between the South Korea-based church/scam and Japan’s governing Liberal Democratic Party. The church said it was considering an immediate appeal of the Tokyo District Court’s revocation of its legal status, which would take away its critical tax-exempt privilege and require the liquidation of its assets. Laugh all you want, but the guy who blasted through Shinzo Abe with a homemade shotgun is really getting the last laugh here
Snow White Update: Ordinarily I wouldn’t invest any energy into a failed Disney project, but this article villainizing Rachel Zegler, star of the new Snow White film, is transparently an attempt to deflect any justified criticism from her talentless Israeli co-star Gal Gadot (or maybe Gal Gadon’t). The bozo executives over at Disney want to pin the blame on Zegler tweeting in support of a free Palestine, but don’t want to admit that Gadot’s attempt at acting ‘Israelly’ bad. So now we’re seeing articles like this one as part of a broader scapegoating campaign to cover their asses for the film’s horrendous reviews and low box office numbers. They just refuse to admit that Gal Gadot's atrocious acting and endless support for genocide might be what’s turned their blockbuster into a complete flop.
