The unapologetically repugnant Israeli regime has done it again. The IDF murdered a three-year-old Palestinian boy after he was shot in the head a few days ago by apartheid-defending soldiers while riding in a car with his father in the occupied West Bank.
The boy’s name was Mohammed al-Tamimi and he was initially injured Thursday night as his father buckled him into the car to drive to an uncle’s house. The murderous IDF claimed that troops had opened fire near the village of Nabi Saleh after Palestinian gunmen fired shots towards a guard outpost. Haitham al-Tamimi, the little boy’s father, told reporters that there had been no other gunfire.
Mohammed was airlifted to the Sheba hospital near Tel Aviv and remained in a critical condition until medical officials announced his death earlier today. His father, Haitham al-Tamimi, 40, is still being treated at a Palestinian hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
After initially blaming the shooting of the father and son on Palestinian crossfire, IDF officials later backtracked and said that it was not clear who had shot them and that an investigation had been opened. Later they admitted that the pair had been injured by Israeli fire. In a statement, the IDF said it “regrets harm to noncombatants and is committed to doing everything in its power to prevent such incidents”.
I guess we shouldn’t get upset, they’re doing everything in their power to prevent such incidents guys. Murdering innocent civilians and covering up the evidence can be hard work.

No More Parties in LA: California is no longer in good hands folks. Allstate, one of the nation's largest insurance companies, has joined State Farm in deciding to halt sales of property and casualty coverage to new customers in the state of California. The companies say it's too pricey to underwrite policies in a state that’s seen thousands of natural disasters in recent years. So if you’re thinking about making the move out West, be sure to bring your own fire extinguisher and life jacket and satellite phone and flashlight and emergency beacon
Tale of Oppression: This article tells the story of “The Trinity of Fundamentals”, a book written by Wisam Rafeedie while imprisoned in apartheid Israel. The book is described as a stirring account of dissidence and resistance to the occupation, but the story of how the book came into existence is equally fascinating. Throughout the process of writing the novel, Rafeedie distributed excerpts of it through the secret system of circulation established by the prisoners, which moved materials and information across cells. The book was transferred in various segments via pieces of bread dough or pill capsules that were thrown across cells. Upon its completion, the book was confiscated by the prison guards, but unbeknownst to the author, another copy had been transcribed by one of the other prisoners, unknown to both the prison guards and Rafeedie himself
More Evidence of Police Ineptitude: A man in the Humboldt Park neighborhood in Chicago was killed by police this weekend after an hours-long standoff. Reports indicated that this guy was seen brandishing a gun and (allegedly) a flamethrower atop a building that was flying a swastika flag. The man had been the subject of more than 40 calls for service since January 2022, but police clearly weren’t listening
