Apologies my friends, but I’m tired and don’t really feel like writing much about the same genocide that we’ve been witnessing for months. I recognize that it’s a massive privilege to take a break and get some rest, particularly when the apartheid forces don’t take any breaks in their continued bombing of Gaza.
According to a new poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, about half of the adults in the US believe Israel’s ongoing genocide campaign in Gaza has “gone too far”, which would be reassuring if their opinions mattered at all to the people in power. Instead, we all get to watch as Joseph Robinette and his band of clueless geriatrics drag us all closer to another devastating war in the Middle East.
Here’s a list of all the known names from the more than 11,500 Palestinian children killed during the apartheid state’s continuing military campaign on Gaza. Not to spoil your Friday, but it takes 34 seconds of fast scrolling in this video before you even get to the babies aged one. 52 seconds until you get to two year-olds. One minute and 20 seconds until the age of three. You get the idea.

NYC Discovers “The Future”: Earlier this week, with Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” blasting in the background, NYC demonstrated a garbage truck picking up and emptying a garbage can, technology that has only existed for a handful of decades. This was part of a new program that’s expanding across the city in an attempt to clear up some sidewalks from under mountains of garbage. You might look at this and laugh, but consider that before the introduction of this technology, the NYC system for trash collection basically involved randomly dumping bags of trash all over the sidewalk
Spring Soon Come: A small woodland rodent emerged from a hole in the ground and predicted that winter wold end soon. Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog that this country treats as some sort of pagan oracle, says the weather is about to warm up, which would be nice if we weren’t on the verge of climate collapse
